Anti-war voters made their message clear: stop funding genocide

with the world’s eyes on Gaza the president must listen to us - the more than half a million anti-war voters who are demanding he change course on Gaza to end the suffering and death. It’s appalling that biden has the power to save so many human lives yet chooses not to intervene. The Democratic Party must heed our call and come together ahead of the election to fight racism in November.

the campaign saving lives while strengthening democracy

The way we build collective and progressive power can make all the difference.

Build with us.

Our government’s funding of right-wing Netanyahu’s murderous campaign has mobilized a multi-faith, multi-generational , multi-racial Democratic base in Michigan and nationwide. The movement has highlighted a clear disconnect between the Democratic party and key constituencies in their base. These constituents are voters who helped deliver Biden the presidency in 2020, and who now feel deeply hurt and betrayed by the President’s decisions to continue funding war crimes and the mass killing of Palestinians. Arab American, Muslim American, and young voters, as well as people of conscience in Michigan and nationwide, are critical to the strength of the base. We cannot afford to have this base permanently disillusioned or alienated in November.

The challenge As we see it

our unique position

The Uncommitted National Movement has registered and mobilized  people of conscious previously apathetic to the democratic process to civically engage in this election. It shifted what once felt like a powerless moment  to a clear and unified voice politically engaging with this administration who betrayed their trust.  Our coalition's power and influence continues to have the potential to push voters to engage in November in a meaningful way to fight fascism and strengthen our democracy.

ISSUES MOTIVATE VOTERS

PALESTINE IS AN ISSUE VOTERS CARE ABOUT

  • Biden and his administration have made decisions on Gaza in the last several months that have created a disconnect between the Democratic Party and a bloc of key voters who are an anti-war voting bloc. Uncommitted has been able to engage these disillusioned voters both registered and new to go to the ballot box on the day of their presidential primary to let Biden know exactly how they feel. They went to the ballot box to let him know that they want to see polices that are anti-war, pro-peace and Pro-Palestinian.

  • For too long, Arab and Musim Americans have been absent of a real seat at the negotiating table when it comes to policies in our country and overseas. The uncommitted movement has engaged in key leadership development with Arab American leaders with a multi-entity organization (c)4 and federal PAC all work in service of saving and improving lives through the promotion of organizing, civic engagement, and strengthening democracy.

  • The Uncommitted movement has mobilized a diverse network of folks who, in fact, helped deliver the presidency to Biden in 2020 and it has highlighted a clear disconnect between the Democratic Party and this key multi-racial, multi-faith, multi-generational base because of Biden’s decisions to continue funding war crimes and the mass killing of Palestinians. Arab Americans, Muslim Americans, Jewish Americans, Black Americans, young voters, older voters, as well as people of conscience nationwide are critical to the strength of the Democratic base and they are working collectively to bring about progressive change within policies that preserve human life - all human life. We cannot afford to have this base permanently disillusioned or alienated in November.

  • The Uncommitted Movement kicked off with Listen to Michigan where we turned out 101,000+ uncommitted votes letting Biden know he can count Michigan out for genocide. This unprecedented win in Michigan, which landed them two delegates, swept the nation by storm sparking uncommitted votes coast to coast attached to a brand that built trust and inspiration amongst a voting bloc who felt betrayed and disillusioned.

  • Not only did the uncommitted movement mobilize people to vote but we did an exceptional job building grassroots power where folks joined our voter contact base where our volunteers contacted ver 500,000 voters in key swing states.

OUR VICTORIES

  • With over 1,000,000 phone calls and texts, we achieved 101,000+ uncommitted votes

  • 19% voting uncommitted, sending 11 delegates to the convention

  • An unprecedented showing where uncommitted received 29% of the votes

  • Where 14x as many people voted uncommitted this year than in the state’s Democratic presidential primary in 2020
